It has been pretty beautiful to witness the current Latinx graduations and the students sharing their photos, videos and memories of their accomplishments and successes.

One of my siblings shared Patty Rodriguez’s Instagram stories capturing a few of these moments of love, gratitude, cultura and familial aspirations. If you want a good cry, feel free to take a look at her stories, now turned into a post capturing el orgullo of our 2025 Latinx Grads.

It has made me feel nostalgic to a time that I too was sitting front and center with my students. In May of 2016, I was blessed to walk alongside my students at our Latinx cultural grad. I completed my Doctorate degree and was able to share that moment with my familia and my estudiantes.

Felicidades to our 2025 Graduates & their loved ones that helped them get to this joyous milestone! Adelante!
